Principal Alexandra Oreluk
Dr. Alexandra Oreluk was appointed principal of Gemini Middle School on April 10, 2025. She has served in her current role since July 1, 2025. Dr. Oreluk formerly served as Principal of Willow Springs School District 108. She began her career as a special education teacher at North Palos School District 117 in Hickory Hills, and held assistant principal positions in two districts – Frankfort Community Consolidated School District 157-C and Elmwood Park Community Unit School District 401 – before taking on her Willow Springs role in 2021.
After completing her B.S. in special education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Oreluk earned an M.A. in principal preparation from Concordia University and an Ed.D. in leadership and learning in organizations at Vanderbilt University.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I am honored to serve as the principal of Gemini Middle School, a school known for its commitment to student success and equity. Gemini has a proud tradition of excellence, and I'm excited to build upon that legacy.
Gemini is a place where every student belongs. We recognize that middle school years are a unique time that is exciting, challenging, and full of growth. Our dedicated staff is here to support your child every step of the way, ensuring a learning environment that is academically rigorous, inclusive, and responsive. Guided by District 63’s vision, we nurture the whole child and help all students thrive in our changing World.
Family and community partnerships are the backbone of Gemini's success. I encourage you to stay connected this year. Talk with your child about their day, attend school events, and consider joining our Gemini Parent Teacher Organization that supports our school, students, and staff.
