Hello! My name is Mr. Arends and I teach 6th grade Social Studies. This is my 16th year teaching at Gemini, 18th year as an educator, and sixth year teaching exclusively 6th grade World History. I anticipate having a great year and cannot wait to get started!
The 6th-grade social studies curriculum includes world geography and a series of thematic, inquiry-based units that focus on the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Mesoamerica, the African continent, India, Greece, and Rome.
